Sophia Barclay is a Portfolio Manager at AWM Capital focused on allocating capital to funds and direct investment opportunities in real estate. Before AWM, she lead real estate acquisitions for a large single family office, evaluating a range of direct, JV, and fund investments, and served as a direct advisor to the patriarch, helping shape the family’s long term goals, capital deployment strategies, and relationship development to reflect both return targets and broader family values. In her career, she has evaluated 1B+in real estate opportunities across a range of asset types, and at AWM Capital, leverages her experience to build purposeful investments that serve future generations.

Sports bio

Sophia played a range of sports in high school from volleyball, soccer, and softball, though her main interests were in swimming, where she competitively swam for 4+ years. Today, she enjoys staying active with her husband, including beach runs with her dog and skiing.
