Justin is a dedicated advocate for independent financial advice, currently leveraging his extensive leadership experience in private wealth management as a Chief Investment Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
Justin is a passionate and principled advocate for truly independent financial advice—an approach he believes is too often missing in an industry riddled with conflicts of interest. “The unfortunate reality,” he frequently notes, “is that the financial services industry doesn’t do itself any favors.” From the promotion of high-commission products to the mishandling of client priorities, Justin has seen firsthand how the profession can lose sight of its highest calling: improving lives.
This belief fuels his work every day. With a deep conviction that investment management, when practiced with integrity, is a noble profession, Justin has spent his career working to elevate the standards of the industry. He has held several senior leadership roles in private wealth space, including serving as both Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Justin began his career in San Francisco, where he discovered the transformative impact of holistic financial planning. His dedication to the profession led him to earn the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation, and later, the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation as his interest in investment analysis deepened.
Throughout his career, Justin has advised a wide spectrum of clients—from mass affluent individuals to ultra-high-net-worth families. At every level, his work is driven by a single purpose: to make a meaningful, lasting impact on the lives of the people he serves.
Justin lives in Southern California with his wife, Katherine, and their four wonderful children: James, Claire, Olivia, and Ethan. Outside of work, he enjoys wine, music, aviation, the outdoors, and coaching his kids’ sports teams. A former avid cyclist and sailor, he still tries to find time for both whenever possible.
