As the Managing Director of the Tax Division at AWM Capital, Jay leads comprehensive tax strategy development, specializing in advanced tax planning, estate structuring, and wealth preservation.
Prior to joining AWM Capital, Jay spent seven years as a Tax Manager at Deloitte, one of the Big Four Accounting Firms, where he gained invaluable expertise in individual tax, corporate tax, international tax law, and complex multi-entity structures, developing a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and providing advisory services to clients across a broad spectrum of industries. This experience has equipped him with the ability to deliver tailored tax solutions that optimize tax efficiency, manage risk, and align with clients' long-term financial goals.
Jay’s expertise spans a variety of areas, including tax-efficient wealth transfer, strategic tax planning for high-net-worth individuals, and the development of customized investment strategies. He in addition has significant experience advising professional athletes, helping them navigate the complexities of their unique financial situations, such as residency planning, duty days analysis, structuring charitable contributions, and strategic planning based on contracts and endorsement income.
